Constituency

Newly created in 2005, the Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale constituency is one of the largest and most rural in the United Kingdom. It takes in part of three different local authority areas: Dumfries and Galloway, South Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders.

The seat stretches north from the English border and includes the towns of Annan, Biggar, Gretna, Innerleithen, Langholm, Lockerbie, Moffat and Peebles.

David has been working hard to make sure he represents the whole of Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale. As well as attending as many community events as possible, David also holds regular local surgeries which allow constituents to come and raise any issues with their local Member of Parliament.

David's 2015 Surgeries took in Annan, Biggar, Coalburn, Innerleithen, Langholm, Lockerbie, Peebles and Thornhill whilst he regularly attended events across Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale remaining an active MP across the constituency.
