MEDICAL, care, Army and other key workers involved in the Covid-19 response in Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale have been praised publicly at Westminster.
Local MP David Mundell acknowledged in last week's Adjournment Debate in the House of Commons all those who had worked so hard during the lockdown period.
He added: "I particularly want to thank the NHS staff on both sides of the border who dealt with the unwelcome recent spike in coronavirus cases in the Gretna and Annan areas and brought that outbreak under control."
