Clydesdale MP David Mundell paid a visit to the Biggar sorting office on Monday 19 December to thank them for their hard work in the run up to the Christmas period.
Staff at the Biggar office deal with one of the biggest rural patches in the country and David was extremely happy to see that operations were running smoothly.
Commenting on his visit, David said: "I was delighted to pay an early morning visit to the staff in Biggar to thank them for their hard work at this time of year and all year round.
"The staff at the Biggar sorting office are dealing with a huge rural patch so I was very impressed at how smoothly the operations were going.
"The festive period is a hugely busy time for all of us, but spare a thought for our hardworking postal staff as you enjoy the festivities."
