Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale MP David Mundell was delighted to welcome, the Right Reverend Derek Browning to Dover House, as part of an annual celebration of the work of the Church across Scottish life.
Reverend Browning had attended a special service at the Crypt at the House of Parliament before Mr Mundell welcomed him to Dover House in the heart of Whitehall for a lunch.
Commenting David Mundell MP said: "I always enjoy the annual visit by the moderator of the Church of Scotland to discuss the role the Church plays and Reverend Browning's visit was no different.
"I believe it is very important we recognise the excellent work the Church do both locally and nationally to help those less fortunate and it was a pleasure to discuss with the moderator more about the work they are doing.
"It was also a real privilege to be at the moderator's service in the Houses of Parliament and I hope to meet with Reverend Browning again in the near future."
