I would like to take this opportunity to praise the work of all those on our local coronavirus frontline be they NHS, key workers or in the wider care community.
They truly are going above and beyond in these difficult times.
I'd also like to mention all the individuals, volunteers, emergency services, local authority staff and businesses working so hard in different ways to make a positive difference.
Sadly, a number of people locally have lost their lives due to Covid-19 and my thoughts are very much with their relatives and friends.
