SINCE becoming MP for Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale 15 years ago, and before that as an MSP and councillor, I have been very much aware of the valuable work carried out by the local print media.

SADLY, across the constituency, and beyond, coronavirus and the lockdown continue to dominate all our lives. My thoughts are, like those across the political spectrum, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie, in his battle with the disease.

A SUDDEN closure at the RBS branch in Biggar was only temporary, local MP David Mundell has been told.
