Dumfriesshire MP David Mundell was delighted to pay a visit to Kirkpatrick Fleming Primary School as he took part in a Q&A session with pupils.
Mr Mundell was at the school on Friday 15th December as he explained his role as a MP and took questions from the youngsters, who he described as being very engaged.
Commenting on the visit, David Mundell MP said: "It was great to be at Kirkpatrick Fleming Primary School to meet with pupils and staff.
"Visiting our local schools is always one of the highlights of my work as a MP and the pupils at Kirkpatrick Fleming were certainly very engaged.
"They were ready to ask me a lot of tough questions on a wide range of topics and that is the most important aspect of visiting schools in my constituency.
"It was a thoroughly enjoyable visit to Kirkpatrick Fleming and I hope to be back soon."
