Queen of the South Manager Allan Johnston has won Scotland's Manager of the Year award beating Celtics Neil Lennon to the top spot.
The news comes following an exceptionally successful season for the club who won the Scottish Second Division with a record breaking points tally, becoming the first club in the UK to pick up a league title this season and they also brought Ramsdens Cup back to Dumfries.
Commenting Dumfriesshire MP David Mundell said: “This has been a tremendous season for the club and Queens have shown everyone locally the value of hard work and determination, years of which has paid off under Allan Johnston’s leadership. This award and everything it represents is much deserved and makes it a treble for the Johnston this season.”
