ALONG WITH LibDem Lord Purvis of Tweed, local MP David Mundell this week welcomed pupils from Peebles High School to the House of Commons.
The two parliamentarians spoke with the pupils about the workings of Parliament before heading for a visit to Downing Street.
David Mundell MP said: “Welcoming young people to Parliament is always one of the highlights of being a local MP and it was a pleasure to speak with the Peebles High pupils during their visit.
“It was great to see their enthusiasm for current affairs and for their local community and I very much hope they enjoyed their visit as much as I did.”
